The US Supreme Court does not change Obamacare, the health insurance that former President Barack Obama introduced ten years ago.

The Republicans of his successor Donald Trump had filed a request to invalidate the law behind the settlement.

A majority of seven of the nine chief justices voted to uphold the Affordable Care Act. According to the court, Texas and other Republican states that have challenged the law have no legal basis for doing so.

The court did not answer the question of whether the parts of the law violate the constitution.

It was the third time the US Supreme Court has left Obamacare untouched. Earlier this year, President Joe Biden’s administration had urged to maintain the bill that would provide millions of Americans with health insurance.

During his campaign, Biden had pledged to make healthcare more accessible and affordable and has made Obamacare more accessible and longer.
