US President Donald Trump Wants to Enact An 1807 Law to Quell Protests

US President Donald Trump wants to enact an 1807 law to quell protests against police brutality.

That law allows a president to deploy the army within its own borders and thus against its own people.

This has often happened in race conflicts but was not always directed against blacks, sometimes the other way around—an overview.

The Insurrection Act was passed by Congress in 1807 and signed by Democratic President Thomas Jefferson.

His hand had previously held the pen when writing the “Declaration of Independence” in 1776 – say the birth certificate of the United States.

There will be several amendments or additions with civil rights to the constitution, “Bill of Rights” in 1791.
