Software Manufacturer SAP acquires Qualtrics for 6.1 Billion Pounds. The German software manufacturer SAP takes over the American company Qualtrics for 6.1 billion pounds, letting SAP know in a statement on Sunday evening.
The purchase will be completed in the first half of 2019.
Qualtrics was about to enter the stock market.
The company develops software for satisfaction surveys.
“The merging of our companies assures that we can adequately respond to the best experience,
for our customers,” says Bill Bill McDermott of SAP in a statement.
“We are happy that we have been given this opportunity.”
The owners and founders of Qualtrics,
the Smith family, become billionaire directly through the takeover, according to the reports.
The family owned 45 percent of the shares and held approximately 2.2 billion pounds in sales.
