Queen Elizabeth (93) belongs to the risk group when it comes to the new Coronavirus. Therefore, Buckingham Palace has thoroughly modified the Queen’s work schedule.
The British Queen Elizabeth has already cancelled her annual parties in the gardens of Buckingham Palace.
She will leave for her Windsor Castle residence on Thursday – a lot earlier than usual. She will also stay there longer than planned due to the coronavirus outbreak, Buckingham Palace reports.
Besides, several other public events that the Queen and other members of the royal family would attend will also be cancelled or postponed.
Also, on Maundy Thursday, April 9, the Queen will not participate in the church in St. George’s Chapel at Windsor Castle.
It is not yet known whether Trooping the Color, the annual ceremony in honour of the princess scheduled for June 13, and the Japanese Emperor’s state visit to the United Kingdom will be possible. This is still being discussed.
