The defence of MH17 suspect Oleg Poelatov is allowed to investigate the plane wreck in a hangar of Gilze-Rijen Air Force Base with its own expert.

Many other requests from the defence have been rejected or will only be dealt with by the judge.

In this way, Pulatov’s lawyers can investigate possible other causes for the crash of Malaysia Airlines’ Boeing 777 on July 17, 2014.

In addition, the lawyers are allowed to hear some new witnesses, including specialists in Bukrakets. The court determined that on Friday afternoon in a session of the MH17 trial.

The court also wants a new attempt to obtain American satellite images. America claims to have observed the launch but has not yet wanted to reveal those images.

However, the MIVD was allowed to view the images. Because a request for the release of the satellite images was already four years ago, the court wants a new attempt to be made.
