Mayor of London calls For a new Brexit Referendum. London mayor Sadiq Khan has called for a new referendum on British membership of the European Union.
According to reports, Khan criticises the government’s discussions and states that the way of life,
the economy and the jobs are too much at risk, without the voters being allowed to speak about it.
“The electorate must be prepared to speak out about any agreement the government closes,
or about a no-deal Brexit if there is no agreement, or about the option to remain in the EU,” Khan mentioned.
Prime Minister Theresa May has repeatedly ruled out a second referendum.
MEPs can vote if they will accept the final agreement.
The United Kingdom will leave the EU on 29 March 2019.
However, the negotiators from the EU and the United Kingdom have not yet reached an agreement on the relationship after the Brexit.
