Italian former Prime Minister Silvio Berlusconi has spent a night in hospital after a fall at his home in Rome, his Forza Italia party reported Thursday.
The 84-year-old politician sustained bruises and was treated in a hospital in Milan on Wednesday. He was allowed to go home a day later.
Berlusconi was in Rome for political talks about a new Italian government headed by former ECB leader Mario Draghi.
The wealthy older man has been struggling with health problems for some time.
Last month he had to go to the hospital for problems with a heart valve. The media tycoon was in the hospital for over a week in September due to a corona infection and pneumonia.
Berlusconi was Prime Minister of Italy three times between 1994 and 2011.
