The Alfa Romeo Formula 1 team has extended the partnership with Sauber Motorsport for a year until next season. The parties have been linked since 2018.
Sauber started as the team’s namesake two years ago, but the racing stable was later renamed Alfa Romeo Racing. For 2018, Sauber had its own team.
The news of the extension was announced ahead of the Emilia-Romagna GP, next weekend at Imola circuit.
This season, Alfa Romeo is represented by the Italian Antonio Giovinazzi and the Finn Kimi Räikkönen. The drivers for next season have not yet been announced.
