Novak Djokovic, Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer will all play at Roland Garros on Thursday.
Djokovic, the number 1 in the world, has therefore been sentenced to Court Suzanne-Lenglen, the second job in the park in Paris.
Djokovic will face Uruguayan Pablo Cuevas in the second round. Federer will face Croatian Marin Cilic on Court Philippe-Chatrier, and Nadal will face Frenchman Richard Gasquet in the evening game (9 p.m.).
Djokovic, Nadal and Federer, the three figureheads of men’s tennis, are in the same half of the schedule at Roland Garros. That is because the Russian Daniil Medvedev is placed second in Paris. Djokovic and Nadal can, therefore, already meet in the semi-finals.
Ashleigh Barty, placed first in the women’s tournament, will take on the Polish Magda Linette on the main track in the first match of the day (12 noon).
