The Czech Health Minister is under heavy fire for allegedly violating his own corona rules.
A newspaper published a photo of Roman Prymula when he recently walked out of a luxury restaurant without a mask.
The Minister is said to have met the group leader of his ruling party ANO in the establishment. It is mandatory to wear mouth masks outside in built-up areas in the Czech Republic.
In addition, all restaurants are closed, and they are only allowed to have items collected.
Group leader Jaroslav Faltynek acknowledged the mistake and apologized to Parliament. The two would have discussed business over a cup of coffee.
The opposition in the Czech Parliament is now calling for Prymula’s resignation. The rules should apply to everyone without exception, according to the Minister of the Interior.
