The British have to stay indoors longer. The British government has extended measures to prevent the spread of the coronavirus.
The lockdown will continue for at least three weeks, until May 7.
A relaxation of current measures would harm both public health and the economy, said Secretary of State Dominic Raab.
He is the replacement for Prime Minister Boris Johnson, who had been hit by the coronavirus.
The UK went into lockdown on March 23, later than other major European countries.
