6 People Killed by Earthquake in Northwestern Philippines. An earthquake with a force of 6.1 killed at least six people in North Eastern Philippines and injured around fifty.
The epicentre was at Castillejos in the province of Zambales, not far from the capital Manila.
The earthquake has also been felt in Manila.
The victims fell in various places north of Manila, most of them collapsed in Potac, 80 kilometres from the capital.
The last major earthquake in the country, in October 2013, killed more than 220 people.
